Relationship Advice

     Hello everyone!! Freddie over here!

It's the second time I'm updating something, and I was wondering about what topic I should write about for my second post. Then it came to my mind, "hey! why not give relationship advice on a blog that has got like less than five views!!" So my second page, and the first to be official, will be on... RELATIONSHIP ADVICE!!!

So, first of all, have you ever been in a relationship? Well, you have; because I'm not talking about just lovers, I will be talking about every single genre of relationship that you can have. Family, friends, also lovers, ...and so on(not that I could not think of anything else). There are many advantages and disadvantages in each type of relationships. However, there is one advice that I can give that can be applied to all relationships: it is always better to get rid of the non-profitable relationships as soon as possible.

It may sound cold when I say "non-profitable" but, what I really mean by this is the relationship that you cannot have the proper giving and taking of benefits. There is no way a person can give something without anything in return. No matter how much they believe that they are doing something without self satisfaction, people must know that we all have selfishness in us that we have to satisfy. So the meaning of a profitable relationship would be: a relationship that both, or all, people involved can fill in their ego together. In other words, any relationship that cannot achieve this is just a stressful encounter. Even in a family relationship, when only parents try to achieve their goal, such as making their kids study to become a doctor or something, it is stressful for children to try and respond to the parents' expectations. However, this is not the case every time. If those children really do want to be successful in the future, both the parents and children can match their goal to fulfill both their wills. Likewise, any other relationship should have a fair trade in satisfying their needs.

Therefore,  what people really need in a relationship is to get something they want in return. In other words, if you have a relationship you want to hold on to, you have to think of how you can give the other person what they want. But you must be careful, because what you give to the other person to keep the relationship "profitable" may be "non-profitable" for yourself. So you must always think if the relationship that you are having is profitable for both sides, and when you think that it isn't, then it is a sign for you to leave and find someone else to fill in your healthy ego.

Pilot

Hello Everyone! My name is Freddie! I am a student in Japan, and I am studying psychology in my university(hopefully). I was interested in writing an English blog for quite a while now, and so I've decided to take action!

So first, I am going to  talk about myself a little bit more. I am currently 19 years old, which I will be turning 20 on April. I like dogs very much, in fact much more than any other living creatures. My favorite TV program is "The Mentalist" and "F.R.I.E.N.D.S". I am quite a psychology geek, and my dream is to become a Mentalist. My favorite character from FRIENDS is Chandler Bing, I idolize his funny, joke making sarcastic character, and I would really like to have that on myself. My favorite sports is tennis, and I used to go to tennis school but I don't any more. Oh, and even  though my name is Freddie, I am actually half Japanese and half Latin American! So, I do enjoy some partying once in a while, but I also like to have some quiet time on my own too.

The reason why I have decided  to actually start writing a blog is because a) I'm sure not many people will read it, b) because I have so much thoughts going on in my mind these days and c) because the Japanese blog that I am writing can be delivered to Japanese audiences only... I have been living abroad in total of ten years, and most of them were Spanish  speaking countries so I am not perfect with English, but I had come to realize that I feel like I can express more of my feelings and ideas in English for some reason. I don't even know how often I will be able to update this blog, and I'm sure most of my posts can be very negative or that they make absolutely no sense, but for those of you that have the courage to read this blog, I will do my best to entertain you. I will try to deliver some fun life that I'm having in Japan as well.

Anyways, feel free to read it, comment or ask me anything when you read this. I really hope to get some sort of connection with the world through this page. So this will be all for my first post! Please, let's enjoy this piece of non-sense together!
